Oriental melon in Korean “chamoe” – a cucumber of great quality. Melon developed from wild species in Asia, and its cultivation and history are quite long. In India and China, oriental melons have been cultivated since before Christ, and in Europe they appeared in the 5th century. Oriental melon contains vitamin E, calcium, potassium, vitamins and folic acid, and significant amounts of water. During the summer when people sweat a lot, this fruit is good for quenching thirst. Exotic melon has a very high sugar content and a very small seed pod that is very easily separated from the fruit. Extremely juicy, with hard white flesh and a sweet aroma.
It has a very thin peel and tolerates transportation extremely well, does not crack and can be stored for a long time.
