The Maha Chanok or Magachanok mango varies in size and shape, generally averaging 16 to 18 centimeters in length with an elongated, oblong, slightly curved shape. The surface of the fruit sometimes has black-brown spots, caused by weather conditions and juice. These spots are only superficial and do not affect the quality of the flesh.
The Mahachanok mango has an incredibly fragrant, fruity and tropical aroma. The flesh has a sweet, sour, musky and spicy taste with fruity and floral nuances.

Mango is, in general, a source of vitamin C to strengthen the immune system, fiber to regulate the digestive tract, potassium to balance fluid levels in the body and calcium to protect bones and teeth. Mango also provides iron for the development of hemoglobin protein to transport oxygen through the bloodstream, vitamin A to maintain organ function, magnesium to control nerves and other nutrients, including zinc, manganese and B vitamins.
